Among institutions like Franhofer and TU Berlin, Germandrones is committed to the association 5G Berlin, supporting research in mobile communications and their applications. One of its goals is the establishment of infrastructures for the future operation of drone fleets. Through a demonstration at the campus of the Technical University Berlin, the Songbird and its optional telemetry- and video link via the mobile network were introduced to the participants.
