At the Startup Grind Global Conference 2020 in Redwood City, CA, the Songbird was introduced to the American entrepreneur- and developer community and received an outstanding feedback. Subsequently, the Germandrones team had a visit to Nightingale Security on the agenda to discuss future cooperation. Nightingale produces fully automatic drone systems for the surveillance of industrial facilities. The “Blackbird” multi-copters operate autonomously from a base station. In the medium run, the teams plan the collaborative integration of a VTOL in such station.
